Hi, my name is Emily
It's a pleasure to meet you (=
-For there to be a happy ending, we have to start at the beginning-
The things that happen to me on a day to day basis are astounding in my opinion. I'm talking about events that happen in both of my worlds, fictional and reality. Reality, unfortunately probably does not live up to my fictional world. The wonderful world of writing is bringing me on a fabulous and crazy journey and I would love to share the happenings of both my worlds with others. Everyday I struggle to bring life to my first novel and I think there's no better way to get inspiration for writing than to write.
First of all let me explain why I entitled my blog WRITERDYSTOPIA. I'm very entranced with writers who have and are creating books about dystopia's. They create these community's and worlds that seem to be a Utopia. Though we all know that a perfect existence is impossible. Dystopia's however are much more plausible. In our quest for perfection it is much more believable that as people will introduce destructive elements rather than healing ones. Writing often feels like a Utopia to me. I'm in this perfect bubble where I can create, explore, and breathe life into my novel. Though as all writers know, if you go in the wrong direction that bubble will...POP. Creating and exploring then seems like a chore and is not at all the gift you once thought that it was. The wonderful world of writing can be a very dystopic place if you let it. These are my confessions, all true, all me.
